Level 10 DiseaseFestering Doom

Black sores appear on the skin, oozing black filth and vital fluids when exposed to healing magic.

Stage 0: The target recovers from the disease.
Stage 1: Initial Effect: The target loses one healing surge until cured.
Stage 2: Each time the target is bloodied or the target of a healing effect, it takes ongoing 5 necrotic damage (save ends). If this damage reduces the target to 0 hit points, it dies.
Stage 3: Final Effect: From the time of the failed Endurance check, each time the target takes damage or is the target of a healing effect, it takes ongoing 15 necrotic damage (save ends). If this damage reduces the target to 0 hit points, it dies.
Check: At the end of each extended rest, the target makes an Endurance check if it is at stage 1 or 2.
15 or lower: The stage of the disease increases by one.
16-20: No Change
21 or higher: The stage of the disease decreases by one.
