Traits

Fungal Bed

When the Carrion King rolls initiative, an area of living fungus appears in a close burst 5 and remains until the end of the encounter. The area is difficult terrain for enemies. If a creature makes an area or close attack that includes this area, the creature can target the Carrion King.

Unstoppable

If the Carrion King starts his turn unable to take actions, drop the body recharges, and the Carrion King can use it as no action. If the Carrion King does so, unless he spends an action point, he can take only a minor action and a standard action that turn.

Slam (necrotic, poison) At-Will

Attack: Melee 2 (one creature); +25 vs. AC

Hit: 3d8 + 16 necrotic and poison damage, and the Carrion King slides the target up to 4 squares.

Spore (necrotic, poison) At-Will

Attack: Ranged 20 (one creature); +23 vs. Reflex

Hit: 2d10 + 18 necrotic and poison damage, and the target falls prone.

Whirling Fungus At-Will

Effect: The Carrion King makes two basic attacks.

Spore Burst (necrotic, poison) Encounter

Attack: Close burst 2 (enemies in the burst); +23 vs. Fortitude

Hit: 4d8 + 18 necrotic and poison damage, and the target is weakened (save ends).

Move Actions

Drop the Body Encounter

Effect: Close burst 1; the burst creates a zone of fungal growth that lasts until the end of the Carrion King’s next turn. Any creature that enters or starts its turn in the zone is dazed while the zone persists. After the Carrion King creates the zone, he is removed from play, harmful effects on him end, and he reappears in a space in the fungal bed area.

Attack: Ranged 20 (one creature); +23 vs. Will

Hit: The target moves up to its speed toward its nearest ally, then makes an at-will attack against the ally.

Triggered Actions

Spreading Rebirth Encounter

Trigger: The Carrion King is first bloodied.

Effect (No Action): Drop the body recharges, and the Carrion King uses it. Instead of reappearing in his Huge form, he reappears in three Large bodies. Each body has 100 hit points, lacks the Carrion King’s traits and encounter powers, and is considered to be bloodied.
