Devout Warpriest

Prerequisite: Warpriest

As your mastery of divine magic increases, you learn to weave prayers that can bring divine objects into the world from the astral realms. Wall of shields forms a protective phalanx around you and your allies, its divine power stopping attackers in their tracks.

DEVOUT WARPRIEST PATH FEATURES

    Devout Action (11th level): You gain a benefit associated with your domain.
Devout Action (Corellon)
When you spend an action point to take an extra move action, you can move twice as far as that action normally allows.

Devout Action (Death)
When you spend an action point to gain an extra action, choose one enemy within 5 squares of you. That enemy takes 5 necrotic damage, and you or an ally within 5 squares of you regains hit points equal to 5 + your Wisdom modifier.

Devout Action (Domination)
When you spend an action point to take an extra action, each ally within 5 squares of you can take a free action to stand up or shift up to 2 squares.

Devout Action (Earth)
When you spend an action point to gain an extra action, choose one enemy within 5 squares of you. That enemy falls prone.

Devout Action (Oghma)
When you spend an action point to take an extra action, you and each ally within 5 squares of you can shift up to 3 squares as a free action.

Devout Action (Selûne)
When you spend an action point to take an extra action, enemies adjacent to you at the end of your turn are slowed and cannot teleport until the end of your next turn.

Devout Action (Storm)
When you spend an action point to take an extra action, the next creature you hit with a divine attack power before the end of your next turn is dazed. The condition lasts until the end of the creature’s next turn.

Devout Action (Sun)
When you spend an action point to take an extra action, you (if you are bloodied) and each bloodied ally within 5 squares of you regain hit points equal to 5 + your Wisdom modifier.

Devout Action (Torm)
When you spend an action point to take an extra action, until the end of your next turn, you and your allies take no penalty for attacking enemies that have any concealment, and you and your allies know the location of enemies within 10 squares of you, regardless of cover or concealment.

    Divine Resurgence (11th level): You gain the divine resurgence power.
    Transcendent Blessing (11th level): You learn the Supernal language. You also gain a benefit associated with your domain.
Transcendent Blessing (Corellon)
When you hit a target with graceful switch, choose an ally within 5 squares of you. That ally gains combat advantage against the target for his or her next attack against it before the end of your next turn.

Transcendent Blessing (Death)
When you miss with death’s shadow, you gain a +2 power bonus to your next attack roll made against the target of that power.

Transcendent Blessing (Domination)
When you hit with fell strike, if the target ends its next turn adjacent to you, it takes psychic damage equal to your Constitution modifier.

Transcendent Blessing (Earth)
When you use earth’s endurance, the effect applies to both you and one ally, instead of just one ally, and you and that ally also gain a +2 power bonus to Fortitude defense.

Transcendent Blessing (Oghma)
When you hit with singing strike, the target is also immobilized until the end of your next turn.

Transcendent Blessing (Selûne)
When you hit with brand of the moon, you or one ally within 5 squares of you can make a saving throw.

Transcendent Blessing (Storm)
When you hit with storm hammer, you also push the target up to 2 squares.

Transcendent Blessing (Sun)
When you use brand of the sun, the saving throw is made with a +2 power bonus.

Transcendent Blessing (Torm)
When you hit with shielding strike, each of your allies adjacent to the target gains the bonus to all defenses until the end of your next turn.

You gain the blessing of elvenkind power.

With your deity’s blessing, you and your allies go on the hunt.

Effect: You activate an aura 5 that lasts until the end of the encounter. While the aura is active, you gain a +5 power bonus to Stealth checks and a +2 power bonus to speed. Any ally who starts his or her turn in the aura gains the same bonuses until the start of his or her next turn.

You gain the bound by the grave power.

Death links all living things, letting you join your companions’ life forces into a mystical conduit to protect one ally from harm.

Trigger: An ally within 5 squares of you takes damage from an attack.

Target: You or one other ally in the burst

Effect: The triggering ally takes no damage from the attack. The target takes damage equal to half the triggering damage. This damage ignores the target’s immunities and resistances. Any other effect of the attack is applied to the triggering ally.

You gain the echoes of cowardice power.

Your foes’ eyes widen as your divine magic amplifies their doubts into fears, leaving them vulnerable.

Standard Action      Close blast 5

Effect: The blast creates a zone that lasts until the end of your next turn. Enemies in the zone grant combat advantage. When any enemy that starts in the zone is pushed, pulled, or slid, that enemy falls prone at the end of the forced movement.

  Move Action: You move the zone up to 3 squares.

Sustain Minor: The zone persists until the end of your next turn.



Level 12 Earth Domain Utility Power
You gain the bulwark of stone power.

Devout Warpriest Utility 12Bulwark of Stone

A rocky barrier emerges from the ground at your command.

Daily        Conjuration, Divine
Standard Action      Area wall 8 within 10 squares

Effect: You conjure a wall of rough stone that acts as blocking terrain. The wall can be up to 4 squares high and must be on a solid surface. While you or an ally stand on the wall or are adjacent to the wall, that character gains a +2 power bonus to all defenses. Each square of the wall has 100 hit points and crumbles into difficult terrain if it is destroyed. The whole wall crumbles into difficult terrain at the end of the encounter.



Level 12 Oghma Domain Utility Power
You gain the divine inspiration power.

A whispered voice threads through you, bidding you to open your senses and mind to the world around you.

Trigger: You or an ally within 10 squares of you rolls initiative or makes an Insight, a Perception, or a knowledge check.

Target: You and each ally in the burst

Effect: Each target can reroll initiative if it is the beginning of the encounter and must use the second result. Until the end of the encounter, each target can reroll Insight checks, Perception checks, and knowledge checks, and must use the second result.



Level 12 Selûne Domain Utility Power
You gain the dazzling light power.

As if the full moon had suddenly appeared above you, a silvery radiance scours your foes.

A powerful gale sweeps over the battlefield, carrying you and your allies aloft and deflecting your enemies’ attacks.

Effect: You slide each target a number of squares up to 3 + your Wisdom modifier in any direction, even into the air. A target falls if it ends this movement in the air.
    In addition, each target takes only half damage from the next attack to hit him or her before the end of the encounter.



Level 12 Sun Domain Utility Power
You gain the wall of radiance power.

Devout Warpriest Utility 12Wall of Radiance

A spectral wall of sunlight appears before your foes, hindering their advance while soothing the injuries of your allies.

Standard Action      Area wall 8 within 5 squares

Effect: You conjure a wall that lasts until the end of the encounter. The wall can be up to 2 squares high and must be on a solid surface. Any bloodied ally who ends his or her turn in the wall regains hit points equal to your Wisdom modifier. Each square of movement by an enemy that includes one or more squares of the wall costs 4 extra squares of movement.



Level 12 Torm Domain Utility Power
You gain the rally the troops power.

With a shout of victory, you and your allies suddenly appear in new positions to turn the tide of the battle.

Effect: Each target can teleport to a square in the burst that is adjacent to an enemy.



    Level 16 Devout Warpriest Domain Feature (16th level): You gain a benefit associated with your domain.
Level 16 Corellon Domain Feature
When you use healing word, the target of the power becomes invisible to enemies until the start of his or her next turn.

Level 16 Death Domain Feature
Whenever you use healing word, choose one enemy within 5 squares of you. Until the end of your next turn, your allies gain a power bonus to damage rolls against that enemy. The power bonus is equal to your Constitution modifier.

Level 16 Domination Domain Feature
When you use healing word, choose one enemy in the burst. Until the end of your next turn, that enemy grants combat advantage.

Level 16 Earth Domain Feature
Whenever you use healing word, you and each ally in the burst other than the target gains resist all equal to your Constitution modifier until the end of your next turn. If you are the target of healing word, you do not gain this benefit.

Level 16 Oghma Domain Feature
When you use healing word, the target of the power can make a basic attack as a free action.

Level 16 Selûne Domain Feature
When you use healing word, enemies in the burst cannot regain hit points until the end of your next turn.

Level 16 Storm Domain Feature
When you use healing word, you can slide yourself or one ally in the power’s burst a number of squares up to your Constitution modifier.

Level 16 Sun Domain Feature
When you use healing word, the target of the power gains temporary hit points equal to 5 + your Constitution modifier.

Level 16 Torm Domain Feature
When you use healing word, each ally in the burst can make a saving throw.

    Level 20 Domain Daily Power (20th level): You gain a daily attack power associated with your domain.
Level 20 Corellon Domain Daily Power
You gain the implacable enmity power.

Devout Warpriest Utility 20Implacable Enmity

With a flick of your weapon, you abruptly engage your enemy.

You gain the mark of death power.

With a single touch, you place the mark of death upon your foes, their doom spreading from one to the other as a plague of soul-numbing pain.

Effect: The target takes ongoing 20 necrotic damage (save ends). Whenever the target takes this ongoing damage, your enemies adjacent to the target take ongoing 5 necrotic damage (save ends). The target cannot attempt a saving throw against this effect if any creature adjacent to it is taking ongoing necrotic damage.



Level 20 Domination Domain Daily Power
You gain the ruthless assault power.

Devout Warpriest Attack 20Ruthless Assault

Divine might cloaks you in an aura that grants you strength and speeds your allies’ attacks.

Effect: You activate an aura 2 that lasts until the end of your next turn. While the aura is active, you gain a +2 power bonus to attack rolls and a +4 power bonus to damage rolls. You and any ally in the aura can make a basic attack as a minor action once per round.

Stone from the ground seems to shift and flow around your foe as it rises up to claim its flesh.
