When a square is entered, a section of floor slides aside and a stone post levers up to hit the creature in the square, pushing it back. The stone post then swings back down to reset the trap as long as the square is empty.

Trap: A square hides a post that deals damage and pushes a creature. The post provides cover while the creature is in the square.Perception     DC 17: A panel in the floor ahead of you is loose, suggesting that it slides to one side.     DC 17: Another portion of the floor gives in when pressed down. It might be a trapdoor or a pressure plate.TriggerThe floor panel slides aside and the post swings up when a creature enters the square.AttackOpportunity Action      Melee
Target: The creature that triggered the trap.Attack: +7 vs. FortitudeHit: 1d10 + 4 damage, and the target is pushed 2 squares in the direction the trap is set to push.Countermeasures     Thievery DC 12: A character standing in the square of a triggered kissing maiden that missed can keep it from resetting by jamming an object in the way of the post or the sliding section of floor that hid the post with a successful check.
     Thievery DC 17: A character adjacent to the trap can delay or disable a kissing maiden with a successful check.
